Principle: Local Storage
Game progress, solved puzzles, streaks and settings are generally processed only locally on your device. We do not receive this content.
Data We Process
On your device: game progress, solved puzzles, streak, settings and, optionally, a reminder time.
Optional sign-in: a technical sign-in identifier used to unlock and assign purchases; when signing in with Apple or Google, also the identifier provided by that provider.
Purchase data: product identifier, store platform and technical receipt data used to verify the one-time purchase.
Optional cloud progress for the complete version: solved puzzle IDs, streak and statistics, but never the board currently being played.
Purposes and Legal Bases
We process data to provide the app, verify purchases, provide optional sign-in, provide optional progress sync, fix issues and handle voluntary requests. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
What We Do Not Do
Waylino is ad-free. No ad tracking, no advertising profiles, no sale or rental of your data.
Recipients and Service Providers
For optional sign-in, delivery of unlocked content, purchase verification and optional progress sync, we use service providers, in particular Firebase/Google, Microsoft Azure, Apple and Google Play. Apple and Google regularly act independently for store purchases.
International Transfers
Individual service providers may process personal data outside the EU/EEA. Where there is no adequacy decision, this is based on appropriate safeguards, in particular EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the applicable statutory exceptions.
Purchases
Purchases are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play. A store receipt is checked to unlock the purchase.
Security
Personal data is transmitted only over encrypted connections. Local app data is stored in the protected app storage of the device.
Retention and Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. "Reset progress" removes solved games, times, streak and unfinished boards. Optional cloud data is stored until the account is deleted.

Your Rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the rights under Art. 15-21 GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for our registered office is the LfDI Baden-Württemberg. For privacy requests, contact us at apps@bitbeans.de.
